What is the earliest time we can get into the venue and begin setting up?
When can we start our soundcheck?
When do we need to have finished our soundcheck and be clear for guests/customers/delegates arriving?
Please tell us the approximate time(s) of our set or sets. Typically, we'd play 2x sets - around 45 mins and around 50 mins, with a break in between. TBC.
What's the hard stop for making any noise?
Can we park at the venue/site? If not, can you tell us the nearest, most suitable car park? Is there a fee for parking?
Approximately how far is it from our unload point to the stage/performance area?
Do we need to load in up stairs or in a lift? Is the floor surface hard? (no grass, gravel, etc)
While our equipment is set up, is there space, or a room where we can store our empty flight cases, boxes and bags?
What are the stage/performance area dimensions? Ideally we ask for 6m x 3m, but can squeeze into a slightly smaller area if required.
Are there at least 4 (separate or 2x double) dedicated power sockets on or to the side of the stage/performance area? If not, how will power be supplied to us?
Are we providing the PA system? Or are we using an in-house or hired system?
Are we using our own lighting rig and programmed light show? Or are we using the in-house/hired in rig?
Can we use our haze machine to enhance our stage lighting effects?
Is there a sound limiter in the venue? Will this cut the stage power if tripped?
Is there a private space where we can change and get ready for our performance?
If discussed, and appropriate for the booking, will you be providing food for the 4 members of the band?
Are you able to supply water/soft drinks for the 4 members of the band?
